Misho yuzu, grown directly from seeds, is a rare and original variant of yuzu - a citrus fruit, popular and familiar to the Japanese. It takes 15-20 years for the tree to bear fruit, which allows Misho yuzu to develop a more complex and refined scent, distinct from the commonly grafted yuzu.
While maintaining the classic citrus freshness, misho yuzu essential oil it offers a more refined and gentle fragrance with hints of lemon, grapefruit, and floral sweetness.
Misho yuzu peels left after the juicing process, cannot be incinerated or composted, and must be taken away as industrial waste at a very high cost for farmers. In collaboration with local partners, utilizing steam distillation, areme successfully extracted the valuable essential oil from these peels, turning them into another source of income for farmers.
