We will not be liable if for any reason all or any part of the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.

You may not use, reproduce, copy, modify, publish, transmit, distribute, perform, display, download, license, enter into a database, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, frame, transfer, or sell any material or content obtained from, through or on this Website, in whole or in part without prior written consent from areme.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use the Website and its content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree that the use of and reliance on any content is at your own risk, and that under no circumstances shall areme be liable for any content or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of your use of any content made available via the Website.

All orders made on the Website are subject to our availability and acceptance policy.

areme reserves the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. Products displayed on the Website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue or limit quantities of Products that we offer at any time. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. Any offer for any Product made on this site is void where prohibited.  

Order Acceptance Policy

Any orders placed by you will be treated as an offer to purchase the Product from us and we reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made.

Pricing Policy

Prices shown on the website do not include the costs of delivery and import duties or import taxes that might be incurred. The price of the Product will be the price indicated on the order pages when you placed your order. All prices shown on the website are based in JPY and inclusive of value added or other sales taxes at the relevant rate (unless otherwise specified) and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. 

Depending on the country you select to ship your order to, you will be charged in JPY or in the local currency associated with the country or currency you select for your order. The currency you are being charged in is shown at checkout. areme operates fixed currency prices for different regions.

Payment Policy

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our Website. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use the payment method(s) provided by our Website.  

Please note that our Website is hosted on Shopify online e-commerce platform operated by Shopify Inc. Shopify Payments, our authorised payment services provider, shall receive payments on our behalf and accept most major credit cards and debit cards online, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Shopify Payments shall collect, store in Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application and use your payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies, available here. You shall confirm that the credit, debit card or ApplePay, Google Pay account that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us we will not be liable to you for any delay or non‐delivery. Any possible costs or fees resulting from the failed or refused payment shall be borne by the User. 

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data provided by you when accessing or ordering from the Website.

7. SHIPPING AND HANDLING

Please allow us up to 48 hours to process your order. Processing times may be slightly longer during busy periods like holidays or promotion periods. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order has been shipped.

• The Website is controlled, operated, and administered within the Japan and we make no representation that any Website content is appropriate or available for use at any other locations outside Japan. If you access the Website from a location outside Japan, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws.

• We do not accept any liability arising from any attempt by you to purchase or any subsequent delivery of products if such action is prohibited or illegal where you are ordering from or having the products delivered to. 12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

Applicable Law

All matters relating to the Website and these Terms, and any dispute or claim arising therefrom or related thereto (in each case, including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law of Japan without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule. you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms and conditions or the use of the Website shall be resolved through binding arbitration, appointed in accordance with the rules of the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association (JCAA) or another recognized arbitration institution mutually agreed upon by both parties. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding.

The exclusive jurisdiction for any legal action arising out of or related to these terms and conditions or the use of the site shall be the courts of Japan.

In the event that any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms of Service, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.

You may terminate these Terms at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use or purchase our products, services or when you cease using our Website. We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the site immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole judgment and discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the terms.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the site will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Website.

These Terms and any policies or operating rules posted on this Website constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and areme with respect to the subject matter thereof and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between the parties with respect to such subject matter. A printed version of these Terms shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based on or relating to use of the Website to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form.
