Eucalyptus Camaldulensis Essential Oil
Product Description
Eucalyptus Camaldulensis, also known as River Red Gum tree, is a plant native to Australia and has been widely planted in the western and southeastern provinces of Vietnam since the 1950s for timber production and to green up wasteland. Eucalyptus Camaldulensis leaves are rich in 1,8-cineole, which is said to have respiratory and antibacterial effects. The essential oil of Eucalyptus Camaldulensis has a slightly sweeter, warmer aroma than Eucalyptus Globulus and is considered more effective than lemon eucalyptus (Eucalyptus Citriodora) in getting rid of food pests according to some research.
At areme, we are putting effort on the development of Eucalyptus Camaldulensis essential oil products to shift focus from timber harvesting to leaf collection for oil extraction, creating job opportunities in rural areas as well as helping farmers diversify their income sources - contributing to local economic development.
